Gallery: Bahrain DF initiates summer campaign

Passengers at Bahrain International Airport will encounter discounts and promotions across a range of categories.

Bahrain Duty Free has shared with TRBusiness images of the travel retailer’s new summer campaign for passengers at Bahrain International Airport [scroll below for image gallery].

The Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), which inaugurated last year to much fanfare, has introduced niche fragrances to bolster its category mix.

Travellers will discover the likes of Xerjoff Universe, carrying independent artistic scents and perfumes; Thameen, a niche and exclusive British fragrance brand; and Tiziana Terenzi, a family owned Italian perfume house.

Aside sales promotions on beauty, fashion, confectionery and alcohol, Bahrain Duty Free is offering customers 10% off selected watch brands and ‘buy one, get one half price’ deals on sunglasses.

Meanwhile, a live musical performance and social media coverage across TikTok and Snapshat will bolster the campaign’s exposure.

As reported, Bahrain Duty Free will play host to this year’s MEADFA Conference (27-29 November) that takes place at the Art Hotel & Resort located in Amwaj Islands in the Persian Gulf to the northeast of Bahrain.

For many in the industry, it will offer a first-time view of Bahrain Duty Free’s revamped retail spread.

These cover duty free and speciality retail concessions spanning more than 3,000sq m and 1,500sq m, respectively.
