Lancôme has hailed the success of its recent beauty tech-driven animation, which ran at Dubai International Airport, in partnership with Dubai Duty Free, until mid-July.

The ‘Beauty Tech on the Go’ pop-up was created to allow travellers to experience beauty tech in a personalised way. It incorporated the brand’s latest beauty tech innovations, including the Lancôme Skin Screen and the Lancôme Shade Finder devices.

The Lancôme Skin Screen

Described as a cutting-edge AI skin analysis service, the Lancôme Skin Screen uses tri-polar light technology, which combines standard visible and cross-polarised light with UV flashes, to measure 12 clinical skin parameters.

These parameters include texture, redness, spots, visible pores, wrinkles, fine lines, UV damage, hydration and firmness. The results are then used to create a personalised skin routine, tailored precisely to each consumer’s needs.

The Beauty Tech on the Go pop-up was designed to allow travellers to experience beauty tech in a personalised way.

The Lancôme Shade Finder is designed to help customers find their perfect Lancôme foundation shade and finish. It assesses skin tones and undertones using a special algorithm that can identify up to 22,000 different variations.

Following the consultations, travellers were invited to trial their recommended products, and enjoy an express make-over service.
