Fine wine and luxury spirits retailer Le Clos has opened its latest stores at Dubai International Airport Terminal One.

Le Clos’ eighth and ninth outlets are the first in arrivals. According to the retailer, they represent a significant opportunity to continue offering travellers accessible luxury through an ‘exceptional’ duty-free experience.

With a prime location in the Terminal 1 baggage claim area (close to conveyer belts 3 and 6) the stores offer travellers a new and convenient Le Clos experience with more than 300 wines and over 80 whiskies.

For those passengers discovering Le Clos for the first time, the experience is made even easier with the retailer highlighting a curated Five Bottle Selections box set.

WINE SELECTION

This includes a selection of the ‘World’s Most Admired Wines’ and ‘Great Wines of Bordeaux’ and gives passengers the chance to take full advantage of their duty free allowance and purchase a selection of wines at only $105.

Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI) Chief Operating Officer Iain Delaney: “Le Clos has a fantastic product range that delivers both quality and value. We are delighted that passengers arriving into Terminal 1 can now discover the Le Clos experience.

“This new arrivals location opens up the opportunity for even more travellers to sample the Le Clos offer first-hand and enjoy the in-store expertise and world-class service from our friendly team of qualified wine and spirts professionals who will be happy to recommend the perfect item for any occasion.”

While purchase on arrival will play an important role in the success of the new stores, Le Clos will continue driving sales via its online click & collect service.

This  provides customers with an increased level of convenience and flexibility. They can browse the constantly updated and evolving portfolio of over 1,200 products at their leisure and purchase at home or in the sky.

Goods can then be collected from the new stores when they arrive at Dubai International Airport.

Eugene Barry, Executive Vice President, Dubai Airports Commercial Group added: “Together with our partners, we’re committed to offering travellers unique experiences and the highest levels of service, across our airports.

“The addition of Le Clos’ eighth and ninth airport stores is very much in line with this objective.”
