Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free was presented with the 'Lifetime Achievement in the Middle East Event Industry' at the Madinat Jumeirah Dubai on Monday night (April 27 ).
The awards ceremony attracted more than 300 representatives from the Middle East event industry, celebrating the best in the business with over 15 awards presented during the course of the evening. The final and top award for 'Lifetime Achievement' recognized the outstanding effort and long-term contribution made by Colm McLoughlin in ensuring the successful staging of events in Dubai.
Accepting the award, McLoughlin thanked the award organizers and the judges and recognized the support that he and the duty free operation receives from H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Dubai Airports. He also acknowledged the huge team effort that has gone into Dubai Duty Free's success as an award winning airport retailer and as an event organizer.
