Merlin Digital launches new range of technology items with Dubai Duty Free

Dubai-based electronics company Merlin Digital has launched a new range of technology gadgets with Dubai Duty Free. A sustainable modular promotional site has been set up in Concourse B (Terminal 3) of Dubai International Airport and is available until 28 February.
The Merlin range includes the world’s smallest projectors, smart wallets and customised Apple accessories such Apple AirPods Pro, Pencil 2 and Magic Mouse 2. All customised Apple accessories are hand-painted in vibrant colours with hand-crafted finishes. Apple AirPods, for example, come in premium leather with a neon and metallic finish. The Black Shimmer Exotic series of Apple AirPods is priced at $679.
Rohit Bachani, Director and Co-Founder, Merlin Digital said: “The fact that these unique features can be added to our everyday gadgets through Merlin Digital will undoubtedly have a global reach with this move.”
Merlin Digital has re-invented its popular portable projector series with an entry line comprising the Merlin Cube HD, Cube HD Pro and high-end 3D Ultra Pocketbeam Pro. Prices range from $275 to $650. These products are aimed at consumers working from home and at those who like to spend quality time with family.
THREE-HOUR BATTERY LIFE
The Merlin Projector series has a built-in Netflix app for Android OS and a three-hour battery life. The projector can also be used for business presentations through wireless streaming from smartphones, tablets and notebooks.

The promotional site is available until 28 February and features Merlin’s new range of technology gadgets.
Bachani commented: “The Merlin portable projector design was made with the busy business traveller in mind. It encompasses several main features (maximum battery life and high screen resolution), all with easy connection to smartphones through a minimum use of cables.”
On the partnership with Dubai Duty Free he added: “The only way that the uncertainty of present times can be recovered is by taking bold steps and continuously re-inventing ourselves. We are very excited by what we are offering at the moment at Dubai Duty Free. We think that this is a positive growth trajectory for our company,”

Other available products include smart wallets which safeguard users from RFID theft.
Merlin Digital products were first introduced with Dubai Duty Free at Dubai International Airport in 2002. The current range includes projectors, headphones, activity trackers, gadgets and electronics accessories and customised Apple accessories. Last year, sales of Merlin Digital products with Dubai Duty Free totalled $2.4 million.
