Nestlé ITR and Muscat Duty Free launch prize draw to win a $26k car

Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) has joined forces with Muscat Duty Free to give travelling consumers the chance to win an MG Whale car valued at US$26,000.

Running for six moths (from July 2024 to January 2025), lucky draw at Muscat International Airport, is open to customers purchasing KitKat products, as well as others the NITR portfolio, such as Nestlé Sustainably Sourced Cocoa, Smarties, Quality Street and After Eight.

Upon showing a receipt, customers receive a coupon for the draw. All they need to do is fill in their details and place it in the raffle draw box.

“This promotion at Muscat International Airport not only underlines our strong and close cooperation with Muscat Duty Free but also our shared commitment to going beyond and above the norm in travel retail,” said Nestlé International Travel Retail Marketing Manager, Aura Sanch.

“Whilst highlighting our key brands, the lucky draw encourages customer interaction and adds a touch of fun and chance to the confectionery channel.

“Today’s consumers are on the lookout for great products and good deals. At the same time, they enjoy feeling part of the travel retail offer and having the opportunity to win a very substantial prize by just showing proof of purchase can add a very memorable experience to their travels.”

The activation is being highlighted via prominent display advertising and content on social media, with products merchandised on a dedicated pillar merchandising unit.

The winner of the car will be announced by Muscat Duty Free at the end of the promotion, when the delivery of the vehicle will also be arranged.
