‘Passion, performance and motorsport’: Hexagon range HPP stars in Bahrain

The Hexagon range, fronted by brand ambassador Patrick Dempsey, has arrived at Bahrain Duty Free in a HPP.

A high-profile promotion (HPP) for Porsche Design’s Hexagon range of sunglasses is drawing the gazes of shoppers at Bahrain Duty Free this month.

The fixture boasts an interactive digital screen displaying brand imagery and highlights the collection’s features to shoppers.

Products are housed within lightboxes to create a gallery effect that pointing to the brand’s precision design craftsmanship and choice of materials.

Rodenstock Director Global Retail and International Key Accounts Eyewear Lucas Gestin said: “This new promotion comes at a very exciting time for Porsche Design. As the travel recovery continues, we are seeing excellent engagement from shoppers in the travel retail market and the sunglasses sector in particular.

“This promotion showcases the passion, precision and performance which underpins the Porsche Design brand and we are delighted to be working with our partners at Bahrain Duty Free to provide this excitement and newness for shoppers.”

The collection includes two models, the P‘8937 and the P‘8938. They have been crafted to embody the the Porsche Design lifestyle brand’s origins in ‘passion, performance and motorsport’.

Boasting a masculine design inspired by the engine block of the famed Porsche 911 motor vehicle, each frame in the Hexagon range is individually-screwed and hand-finished with lightweight earpieces manufactured from high-performance plastic RXP for comfort and an accurate fit.

The activation is the latest in a series of global HPPs as Porsche Design showcases its expertise in the luxury sunglasses segment while generating excitement for travel shoppers as the recovery picks up pace.

In June, the Hexagon range spotlighted at the Macau Grand Lisboa Palace hotel in partnership with China Duty Free Group.
