From today, Qatar Duty Free will be offering the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 to its passengers at Doha International Airport.
The second largest duty free operator in the Middle East says that this is testimony to QDF’s commitment to secure the latest must-have technology for its customers/passengers and will add to the existing range of Samsung product lines.
Qatar Duty Free says that ‘the New King of Android’ was unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress and it will be available in black and white case versions with QDF at Doha International Airport at the same time that it is made available for sale for all outlets in the region.
SECURING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
Keith Hunter, Senior Vice President, Qatar Duty Free commented: “We continually look at how to offer our customers better value and greater products lines. Having the Samsung Galaxy S5 going on sale in QDF on the same day as the regional launch is extremely exciting and it is testament to our commitment in securing the latest technology for passengers, as part of our ever-growing product portfolio.”
The new model apparently incorporates advanced camera capabilities (16MP rear camera/2MP front camera), video stabilization and real time HDR processing, plus enhanced device protection features with a fingerprint scanner.
It also has a download booster, fifth generation WIFI offering consumers the fastest network connectivity, plus a dedicated fitness tool called S Health.
The heart of the phone – which is already in demand – comprises a 2.5GHZ quad core processor, a 2GB RAM and talk time estimated by the manufacturer at an impressive 21 hours.
