Singapore-based Indian national grabs $1m in latest DDF Millionaire draw

Dubai Duty Free (DDF) has announced that an Indian national in Singapore has won US$1 million in the latest instalment of the DDF Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise Draw [click below to view video].
Harvinder Singh, 37, sealed the jackpot in series 331 with ticket number 2594 after purchasing the ticket online.
The shipping manager, who has been entering the competition for eight years, says he plans to start his own business in Mumbai.
The draw, held on 3 June at DDF’s head office in Ramool, was conducted in adherence to strict social distancing protocols by Executive Vice Chairman & CEO Colm McLoughlin; Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi; and Executive Vice President – Corporate Services Salah Tahlak, .
Meanwhile, two Dubai expats scooped a luxury motorbike each in the DDF Finest Surprise Promotion.
Samir Karki, a 33-year-old Nepalese national based in Sharjah and regular participant, won an Indian Scout Bobber (Thunder Black) in Series 410 with ticket number 0053.
Thajudeen Shahulhameed, a 36-year old Indian national based in Dubai, won an Aprilla Tuono RR (Rosso Sachsenring) in Series 411 with ticket number 0843.
