The promotion is running from 6 to 18 January.

Valrhona and Villars have joined forces to create ‘A Gift from Dubai’ promotion, running from 6 to 18 January at Dubai International Airport Concourse B, in partnership with Dubai Duty Free (DDF).

The dedicated chocolate activation aims to celebrate craftsmanship, personalisation and destination-inspired gifting.

The space showcases two Dubai-edition creations: the Valrhona Pistachio Crispy Praliné Gift Box and the Villars Milk Hazelnut Bar, each of which features packaging elements inspired by Dubai’s iconic skyline.

Designed for travellers seeking meaningful and memorable gifts, the activation centres premium chocolate alongside a strong sense of place.

A key element of the promotional space is Valrhona’s Gift Atelier, a touchpoint that invites passengers to customise their gift box purchase with a special message and a ribbon.

Activation visitors also have the opportunity to sample Valrhona’s Pistachio Crispy Praliné, recently introduced at Dubai Duty Free, and discover its pistachio flavour, crisp texture and smooth chocolate.

The in-store experience is supported by a selection of GWPs, including a travel pouch and a Swiss ceramic mug.

The ‘Gift from Dubai’ initiative reflects the shared vision of Valrhona and Villars to create travel retail experiences that combine heritage and local relevance. By drawing inspiration from Dubai’s gifting culture and international passenger profile, the activation aims to offer travellers a refined way to bring home a piece of their journey.

“Travel retail is about emotion, generosity and connection,” noted Valrhona Retail & Travel Retail Director Zeyneb Larabi. “With this activation, we wanted to create a moment where craftsmanship meets personalisation, allowing travellers to offer a gift that feels both meaningful and rooted in Dubai.”
