He updates TRBusiness on DDF’s focus for the coming year, which involves engaging with passengers more effectively, as the airport continues to recover traffic levels.
“This year Dubai Airport believes we’ll see 64 million pax and next year they’re forecasting 78 million passengers and the forecasts that Dubai Airport issue in general tend to be very accurate. So, we are confident that the additional passengers will come through next year.”
In terms of concrete retail developments, in 2023 the company will renovate a couple of its key shops – such as its L&T offer in Concourse B – comprising the last phase of renovation, which was initiated during Covid.
