Tony Michaelsen is Head of Business Development at Sweden’s R+F Travel Retail, the Stena Line affiliated company has announced.

Michaelsen (pictured), who began in his role this month, has held senior leadership positions within Stena Line and prior to that several business development positions within the leisure industry.

Jari Virtanen, MD at R&F Travel Retail said: “Tony Michaelsen has a solid background from several international senior business development positions within Stena Line and as an entrepreneur.

“He is also a very experienced leader and has a strong commercial drive. We are very happy to have Tony in our team and look forward to seeing him develop our business.”

In August, Charlotte Rankloo was announced as the company’s new Retail Manager following two appointments at the beginning of the year.

R+F Travel Retail was founded in 1979 and today distributes in excess of 47 million premium travel retail items to more than 90 shops.
