Stockholm Arlanda fashion show T5 Marketplace

Fashion forward: Terminal 5 was transformed into a giant catwalk for the day, to showcase retailers’ autumn collections.

Last week (24 October) Stockholm Arlanda Airport became the latest location to host a ‘fashion week’ event. Terminal 5 was transformed into a giant catwalk for the day, as retailers in the airport’s new Marketplace presented their autumn fashion collections to travellers.

The Marketplace – the largest commercial investment in the airport’s history – was completed in spring 2025. The 11,000sq m space brings together an extensive mix of well-known international brands and Swedish and Scandinavian labels, catering to a broad range of tastes and budgets.

Brands who participated in the fashion show include Newhouse, & Other Stories, Chimi, J.Lindeberg, Fredmans, Syster P, Chimi, GANT, Aera Fashion, Today and Illums Bolighus.

“What an incredible day we’ve had here at Arlanda together with our retail partners,” commented Swedavia Chief Commercial Officer Charlotte Ljunggren. “There were plenty of laughs and appreciative comments from travellers passing by and browsing the wide range of fashion options now available here in Terminal 5.

“Our vision for the new Marketplace has been to provide a shopping experience with an element of the unexpected. This means a wide range of shops with a broad price range that meets many different needs, and I think we have managed to show that we live up to that based on what we have seen here on the catwalk today.”
