The Swedish Government plans to put six airports up for sale, including the airport that serves the magical city of ?rnsk?ldsvik, where TREND's Generation partners are located.
LFV, which operates and develops Sweden's state-owned airports, has been given the assignment of finding new owners for these airports.
‘Primarily we turn to municipalities and other regional interested parties, but we remain open for suggestions from other parties who may be interested in operating one or several airports,’ says Lars Rekke, Director General of LFV.
The following airports are up for sale: J?nk?ping, Karlstad, Skellefte?, Sundsvall H?rn?sand, ?ngelholm Helsingborg and ?rnsk?ldsvik. In 2008 these airports, including J?nk?ping, received around 1.3m passengers travelling on domestic, international and charter flights.
