3Sixty Duty Free strikes five-year deal with Colombia’s Matecaña Airport

3Sixty Duty Free is to upgrade the duty free shops at Matecaña International Airport in Pereira, Colombia under a five-year deal.

Omni-channel travel retailer 3Sixty Duty Free has agreed to partner with Operador Portuario Aeropuerto Matecaña (OPAM) to upgrade the duty free shopping footprint at Matecaña International Airport in Pereira, Colombia.

The five-year contract will involve 3Sixty working with the airport’s concession operator OPAM to upgrade the departure and arrival duty free stores, utilising the former’s multi-channel solution.

In a statement, 3Sixty Duty Free says the collaboration with OPAM ‘represents a shared vision for innovation and service delivery’.

Alex Anson, Chief Operating Officer, 3Sixty Duty Free stated: “This alliance with Aeropuerto Internacional Matecaña de Pereira aligns with our commitment to excellence and innovation in both large hubs and smaller regional airports.

“We anticipate leveraging our expertise and this partnership to contribute to the continued success of Pereira International Airport.”
