After more than 18 years with the tobacco giant, he moved to Scorpio Distribution to head up the Americas division before assisting Heinemann Americas open its Miami offices. He joined 3Sixty Duty Free & More in 2020.

René Riedi, Chairman, IAADFS said: “We are delighted to have Mark join the IAADFS Board of Directors. He will bring considerable knowledge and experience from his many years in the industry, and it is important for us to have 3Sixty Duty Free involved as part of our Board deliberations.”

Michael Payne, President and CEO, IAADFS added: “Mark has a tremendous amount of knowledge and a broad understanding of the duty free and travel retail business. Mark’s personable style and many relationships throughout the industry will be huge assets for IAADFS.”

Mariani stated: “I’m truly honoured to join the IAADFS Board of Directors, as I have been attending the IAADFS convention since it was held at the Diplomat Hotel in the early 1990s.”
