3Sixty Duty Free has inaugurated its retail operations at Ontario International Airport (ONT) in Southern California.

The company’s retail presence at Terminal 2 represents its first footsteps into airport retail on the US West Coast.

Last year, 3Sixty inked a 10-year concession agreement at ONT, with the Ontario International Airport Authority Board of Commissioners green lighting the way for 3Sixty to deliver duty free services to passengers at the airport.

Alex Anson, Chief Operating Officer, 3Sixty Duty Free said: “We are excited to be developing our partnership with Ontario International Airport and supporting the airport to deliver its vision of making OIA a leading airport with standout retail and F&B experiences for all passengers while continuing to deliver against the 3Sixty mission and strategy.”

As a leading inflight retailer, 3Sixty Duty Free has forged alliances with the likes of Singapore Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and Air Canada and runs duty free/duty paid stores at a number of international US airports including Dallas/Fort Worth, Newark, Orlando and now Ontario International.

Speaking at the time of the concession agreement last year, Anson said: “3Sixty has over many years developed exceptional partnerships that have enabled our company to interpret traveller needs and align these to our partners’ brand’s expectations while developing leading retail experiences including omni-channel retail. We are excited to bring all of this to Ontario International Airport and realise the duty free retail opportunity, enhancing the overall passenger experience.”
