ALFA Brands takes on Hardy Cognac in North America
By Charlotte Turner |
North American duty free agent ALFA Brands has taken on new client, Hardy Cognac, covering the Canadian duty free and travel retail market.
Hardy Cognac, recognisable for its rooster logo, has a history dating back to 1863 and was one of the very first to embrace the spoils of a worldwide distribution network, says ALFA Brands.
“Thanks to an entrepreneurial Englishman’s love for the Cognac countryside, Hardy Cognac boasts a 150-year history of providing a range of 5 superior cognac ‘Collections’ to the four corners of the globe,” it adds.
“We are delighted and honoured by this appointment, which adds such a prestigious, haute couture, elite brand to our portfolio, underscoring our long-term commitment to growing our liquor category,” said Franco Gabriele – ALFA Brands President.
Hardy Cognac will be launching their new LEGEND variant, available in 700ml, 750ml and soon in a litre format (as well as a 50ml size) in June at VINEXPO in Bordeaux, as ALFA Brands launches it in the Canadian duty free and travel retail market.
