ARINA makes changes

By Administrator |

With immediate effect, Jacques Dagenais has assumed total responsibility for Aer Rianta International North America?s (ARINA) duty free operation at Pierre Trudeau International Airport in Montreal.

ARI says this appointment follows its investment of C$4.5m ($3.86m) in its store at the airport last year to accommodate the huge additional passenger volumes that resulted from the closure of Mirabel Airport at the end of 2004.
ARI says the opportunity has thus arisen to consolidate its management team in Montreal and prepare for the next development stage of creating a new US traffic transborder store, commencing in 2007.
Philip Eckles, Operations Director at ARI?s Canadian subsidiary Aer Rianta International (North America) Inc., has taken on an expanded role in the region to include not only the Canadian operations, but all other ARI business in The Americas and Caribbean. Eckles will continue to report to Bill Maxwell, Regional General Manager Retail.
