Avolta will continue operating its  stores as the airport progresses with its Gateway 2030 redevelopment programme.

Avolta has secured an eight-year extension to its duty free concession at Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) in Aruba, reinforcing a partnership with Aruba Airport Authority that spans more than 30 years.

The new agreement will see Avolta continue operating its duty free stores as the airport progresses with its Gateway 2030 redevelopment programme, including the transition into new terminal facilities.

Queen Beatrix International Airport welcomes more than three million passengers annually and serves as a key gateway connecting the Caribbean with North America, Latin America and Europe.

According to Avolta, the renewed concession supports its long-term growth strategy across the Caribbean while providing the opportunity to introduce new retail concepts as part of the airport’s redevelopment.
