BAA increases Pittsburgh mall spend by 7%

BAA Pittsburgh, developer and manager of the retail and concessions programme for the AIRMALL? at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) reports that it increased per-passenger spending from $12.33 in 2005 to $13.21 for 2006 (a 7%

increase).
BAA as operated the mall since 1992 when the average spend was no more than $2.40 and it has been held up ever since as a role model for many other airports in the US, with its blend of national and regional retail brands and restaurant options, pus its ?Regular Mall Pricing? guarantee.
