The 133,500-ton Carnival Panorama departs from Long Beach, California on 11 December.

Carnival Cruise Line’s newest ship Carnival Panorama sets sail today (11 December) from Long Beach, California.

As revealed earlier this year, Dufry won the duty and tax free concession (fine jewellery operated by Effy Jewelry) for the 4,008 passenger capacity vista class ship, which spans 1,055 ft and features the cruise line’s largest retail space at sea.

The 27th ship in the Carnival Cruise Line staple and the line’s first new ship on the West Coast in 20 years will launch year-round seven-day Mexican Riviera itineraries on 14 December.

Alongside shopping – from fine jewellery and liquor to fashion, accessories and several CCL experiential retail concepts – guests can enjoy a variety of activities, entertainment and food & dining options.

Earlier this week, Carnival Panorama held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for what is says is the first-ever Sky Zone trampoline park at sea.
