DFD toasts successful TFWE in Cannes with new products and partnerships

Travel retail distributor Duty Free Dynamics (DFD) has reported it hosted more than 200 guests to its exclusive showroom during last month’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference (30 Sep-4 Oct) in Cannes.

Operators, partners and brands were able to view sunglasses, footwear, outdoor and travel products, toys, electronics and watches across two sections linked by a balcony overlooking the Boulevard de la Croisette.

They were also treated to a sneak preview of novelties and limited editions destined for the Spring/Summer 2020 season.

The Frédérique Constant Horological smartwatch for ladies, Luminox Navy Seal 3500 Series, Seiko 5 Sports model, Timex Command Urban collection and an array of styles from Guess featured among DFD’s watches portfolio.

In toys, Lego’s Hidden Side using augmented reality showcased alongside AfterShokz in the electronics segment and Samsonite and Osprey in travel accessories.

Meanwhile, the footwear category boasted golf shoes from Ecco, Toms and Teva.

Brand representatives across the categories joined the DFD commercial team at the show to support customers with knowledge provision.
