Dufry set to reopen Cozumel in October
By Administrator |
The Dufry Group is to reopen its important Cozumel resort store in Mexico this October, some two years after it was mostly destroyed – along with much of the port itself – by the severe
hurricane which devastated the area.
Dufry Ceo Julian Diaz acknowledged recently that this will be a significant advance for Dufry this year, considering the significant contribution from this store in the past.
Asked just how important the store is, Diaz told TREND: ‘Well it was the most important store that we had in Mexico in the past, but it was destroyed by the hurricane two years ago, together with most of the port. So now we are really pleased that this is going to be reopened.’
