Fourth Hudson Nonstop store twins F&B and retail at Dallas Fort Worth

Dufry-owned Hudson has inaugurated a combination Hudson Nonstop concept store at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

An area spanning more than 1,600sq ft in Terminal B houses Hudson Nonstop, powered by Amazon’s ‘Just Walk Out’ technology and Amazon One, and an F&B area from Decanted.

The opening marks Hudson’s fourth Nonstop location in the US and second operated under a joint-venture agreement with local ACDBE partner Multiplex.

Travellers can relax in an inviting, contemporary setting at Decanted, sample a variety of drinks and enjoy menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner such as tapas; artisanal charcuterie boards and bruschettas; and hand-made flatbreads, soups, salads, and desserts.

Varied F&B offer

A diverse global wine selection of ‘bold reds and crisp and tangy whites’ are available, in addition to Texas’ own McPherson Cellars and Pedernales Cellars; local beers from Rahr & Sons Brewing Company IPA and Shiner Bock from Spoetzl Brewery; themed cocktails containing local spirits such as Deep Eddy Vodka and Ranger Creek Bourbon; and other alcoholic beverages.

Spanning more than 1,600sq ft in Terminal B, the brand-new walkthrough space blends Hudson’s first-ever wine bar with its travel essentials store that relies on Amazon’s checkout-free technology and palm recognition service.

From here – or the terminal concourse – customers can venture into the adjacent Hudson Nonstop to avail of checkout-free shopping using their credit card or palm courtesy of Amazon One.

The Hudson Nonstop store offers grab-and-go products, electronics and local souvenirs, including Dallas Cowboys merchandise.

“From the food to the overall experience, our new Decanted and Hudson Nonstop concept allows travellers to shop and eat the way they want to,” commented Evan Schut, SVP of Food & Beverage of Hudson.

“With this milestone new opening, we further establish Hudson as a driver of the latest in dining innovation while continuing to deliver the widest variety of offerings, all in one place.”

Ken Buchanan, EVP Revenue Management and Customer Experience, DFW, added: “DFW Airport’s focus on a smooth customer experience continues with the addition of innovative technologies.

“We understand the convenience our customers want when they are in our terminals, and it is our mission to help them travel as seamlessly as possible through DFW Airport.”
