The announcement of the contract extension in Baltimore follows the opening of the world’s largest Hudson Group store in Atlanta earlier this month.

Hudson Group has announced the three-year extension of its retail operations at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

The contract extension awarded by Fraport Maryland includes over 15,900sq ft in retail space and conversion of two Hudson News locations to Hudson store concepts.

BWI Marshall Airport is the 22nd busiest airport in the United States and busiest in the Baltimore-Washington region. The airport surpassed 26m passengers in 2017, recording record passenger traffic for the third successive year.

This latest development is part of a busy but successful period for the retailer, which recently opened the world’s largest Hudson Group store in Atlanta, signed a seven-year contract extension in Rochester and completed the development of its new Hudson convenience shop in Sharjah.
