Hudson Nonstop offers grab-and-go F&B options at Nashville Airport

Hudson has unveiled its first Southeast location for Hudson Nonstop at BNA.

Dufry-owned Hudson has launched its latest Hudson Nonstop store at Nashville International Airport (BNA).

Backed by Amazon’s ‘Just Walk Out’ technology, the shop covers just more than 1,000sq ft of concession space and sells exclusively F&B products to customers such as sandwiches, salads and snacks, plus local offerings and Hudson’s proprietary brand ‘Traveler’s Best’.

Dallas Love Field Airport was revealed last year as the location for Hudson’s inaugural Nonstop unit.

A second location at Chicago Midway International Airport opened in June 2021.

FRICTIONLESS F&B BUYING

“We are continuing to see strong momentum with the growth of our grab-and-go business,” commented Evan Schut, SVP of Food & Beverage at Hudson. “This new Hudson Nonstop format is designed to make it easier than ever for travellers to get the best food and beverage products, while still providing them with the same quick and frictionless experience familiar with Hudson Nonstop.”

Travellers enter Hudson Nonstop outlets by swiping their credit card or hovering their palm over an Amazon One device – Amazon’s palm recognition service.

Once their shopping is complete, customers are charged for the products after departing the store.

As reported, Fraport USA-managed BNA rolled out 35 new commercial openings in 2021. One of these was Hudson’s Evolve shop-in-shop concept.

Matt Jennings, Vice President of Fraport Tennessee, added: “We are pleased to introduce this exclusive offering in our programme at Nashville International Airport.

“With Hudson Nonstop’s focus on food and drinks, traveller favourites are within easy reach – snacks, sandwiches, salads, food gifts and more. Travellers can satisfy their cravings and enjoy local offerings at the airport with a simple swipe of their credit card or hovering of their palm. It’s the ultimate convenience and self-serve option for hungry fliers on the go.”
