The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) is now accepting applications for space at the 2023 Summit of the Americas, which will return to the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida on 16-19 April.
Companies interested in requesting space for the 2023 Summit of the Americas can download the exhibitor information kit by clicking here.
Previous exhibitors have already been sent the 2023 exhibitor information kit and should submit their space requests by Friday 16 September.
Potential new exhibitors are asked to submit their space requests by Friday 30 September.
Registration and housing details are anticipated to release this month.
After debuting at the venue this year – with a strong focus on educational sessions alongside exhibition stands and private meeting rooms dotted around the site – the 2023 Summit will return to a more traditional format, with a dedicated exhibition hall and a more limited number of private exhibit/meeting rooms.
Conference timings: Exhibitors & visitors to benefit
The association announced in July it would be bringing forward the event by two days, beginning on Sunday and finishing on Wednesday.
A more streamlined education programme will feature morning and afternoon session each day on Monday and Tuesday.
The morning sessions will run prior to the opening of the exhibition hall.
IAADFS says this will reduce the amount of time visitors must choose between attending sessions versus meetings, while simultaneously increasing the availability of time that exhibitors can enjoy the sessions.
The association says it continues to widen the scope of eligible buyer attendees ‘to reflect the evolving nature of the duty free and travel retail industry’.
Michael Payne, President and CEO, IAADFS said: “We received very positive feedback about the quality of buyers in 2022 and the fact that they were serious decision makers who were at the Summit to do business.
“Since no other event brings together such a focused and high-quality sampling of the duty free and travel retail industry in the Americas and Caribbean, we’re really looking forward to providing this excellent opportunity for our industry to meet, network, learn from one another, and conduct business.”
Last year’s Summit of the Americas drew a total of 866 delegates, including 269 buyers.
