Event heads for record

This year's Nordic Travel Retail Seminar (May 3 to May 5) is now 75% booked, even after the number of available seats were increased, according to organisers, the Nordic Travel Retail Group (NTRG).

The association says the programme is now complete and includes a presentation on new consumer insights collected through a ‘Grand Nordic Consumer Study’ completed in March 2006. The seminar also includes presentations and speakers from The Nuance Group, Scandlines, Travel Retail Norway, Maxxium Nordic Travel Retail, My Travel Airways, Copenhagen Airports and the Swedish Research Consultancy, Kairos Future AB.
‘We are very pleased that all the speakers are now confirmed and we are very excited about the record breaking number of participants’, says Erik Thomsen, Nordic Travel Retail Group.
The Nordic Travel Retail Seminar has taken place onboard ferries in the Nordic area twice. In 2006, the conference will also be hosted by a local operator: MyTravel Airways. The venue will offer an opportunity to try the full charter airline experience for all participants, including the pre-order service. The seminar is moderated by The Moodie Report.
