Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has appointed Jaimini M. Erskine as Vice President for Marketing and Concessions.

She will be responsible for terminal concessions, corporate marketing and digital strategy at the airport operator that oversees Washington’s Ronald Reagan National and Dulles International Airports.

Erskine’s CV includes Director of the Office of Commercial Management at the Maryland Aviation Administration, which owns and operates Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall and Martin State Airports.

In that position, she steered contract negotiations, implementation and oversight with tenants, airlines, concessionaires, ground transportation and other airport service providers.

As part of a career spanning more than 20 years occupying industry leadership positions, she has held the position of Second Vice Chair on Airport Council International-North America’s (ACI-NA) Commercial Management Steering Committee and served on the Airport Minority Advisory Council’s Corporate Development Committee.

Erskine has also previously stood on ACI-NA’s World Business Partners Board of Directors.

“The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is fortunate to have someone of Jaimini Erskine’s skill and experience on our Revenue Office team,” commented Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Chryssa Westerlund.

MWAA has proposed a new 14-gate concourse at Washington Dulles International Airport set to boast new shops, restaurants and other facilities over a 400,000sq ft footprint – up from 110,000sq ft at the existing facility.

“Her background and expertise will be instrumental as we continue building and enhancing the concessions offerings for passengers at Reagan National and Dulles International Airports, as well as our engagement with customers through our marketing and digital strategy functions.”
