Kraft unveils special Orlando offerings
By Doug Newhouse |
Kraft Foods World Travel Retail plans to showcase ‘a powerful line-up’ of new product offerings at next month’s IAADFS Orlando show which have been specially selected for the Americas’ region from both Kraft Foods and Cadbury.
“The Americas’ region plays a key role in our travel retail regionalization strategy and our strong and dedicated team continues to focus on growth opportunities in this region,” said KFWTR Managing Director Andreas Fehr.
“The Orlando show gives the ideal opportunity for us to share our combined plans for The Americas region with our trade partners.”
TAKING CENTRE STAGE…
This year the company says that its world-leading Trident chewing gum brand will take centre stage with its newly-launched travel retail exclusive multi-pack range, aimed at the impulse-driven character of the gum segment.
To support the Trident multi-pack launch, KFWTR says it is proud to introduce new merchandising solutions for retailers to place at the cash till area.
In addition, the KFWTR Americas’ team will be on hand to share ‘valuable insights from recent market research’ into the ‘Hot Zone’ area, including KFWTR’s strategy and merchandising solutions for maximising these impulse sales opportunities.
Other products on show will include the new Toblerone Gold Minis Pouch and the latest creation from Milka called Imagine, which is a praline-based product for the travel retail market. This new gift box contains 24 individually-wrapped pralines and is aimed at the gifting segment of the market.
THE CADBURY OFFERINGS
Also on show will be the Cadbury Luxury Selection 335g Pralines box, which the company says has proved to be ‘a strong differentiated travel retail exclusive offering’. KFWTR adds that this is being extended into two new formats in 2011, including a more compact 190g box offering 17 dark pralines with hazelnut or almond fillings. This is said to be ‘perfectly suited to inflight sales’.
In addition, the Cadbury Luxury Selection 510g pralines box will also be on show, containing 45 treats that are aimed at the sharing and gift sectors of the market.
The KFWTR Americas’ team can be found at booth number 315 at the IAADFS Orlando show between March 20-23.
