LAN delivers traffic in Peru

By Administrator |

Chile's leading international airline LAN has reported passenger traffic up by 10.7% compared with the previous year and LAN's international traffic growth of 6.9% has strongly aided Aldeasa's operations at Jorge Ch?vez Lima Airport in

Peru.

Aldeasa has seen the best international passenger performance amongst all of its travel retail locations in the region in Peru and it has also benefited this year from the remodelling of its shopping area in November 2008.

LAN also finished the year off with a good international traffic performance in December, reporting a rise of 12.8% as capacity increased 7.6%. Accordingly, the international passenger load factor for the month increased 3.6 points to 77.5%. International capacity was mainly driven by an increase in operations on routes to Europe and to the South Pacific.
