London Supply Group has introduced a Sensory Support Kit at its Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú in Argentina as part of a wider programme to improve accessibility for neurodivergent travellers and those with sensory sensitivities.

Launched under the company’s London Accesible programme and developed in partnership with Fundación Socialmentik, the initiative is designed to help customers manage sensory overload within the retail environment. Operations and customer service teams have also received technical training and awareness support as part of the programme.

Available free of charge from the store’s main reception, the kit includes noise-cancelling ear defenders with graduated attenuation, visual filter glasses designed to reduce glare and bright lighting, and an olfactory filter to reduce the intensity of scents and fragrances.

It also includes a graphic guide with pictograms to help customers understand and anticipate the store layout, alongside a non-verbal communication panel.

The Puerto Iguazú initiative forms part of London Supply Group’s wider London Accesible platform, which is being implemented across its different business units. The group’s airport division has recently opened a sensory room at Trelew International Airport and is progressively introducing further calm and sensory regulation spaces across its airport terminals in Argentine Patagonia.

“In the travel retail and tourism infrastructure sectors, true innovation happens when we place empathy and accessibility at the heart of our business model,” said María Taratuty, Sustainability and Strategic Communication Director at London Supply Group. “With London Accesible, our goal isn’t merely to adapt a space, but to lead a profound transformation in how we design the travel and shopping experience. We hope this pioneering development inspires and encourages other industry players to integrate accessibility solutions into their operations, proving that inclusion is a collective commitment we must build together across the entire industry.”
