Marshall Retail Group says the new America! retail space at Baltimore/Washington International Airport conveys a regional sense of place.

Marshall Retail Group (MRG) has unveiled two new retail spaces (District Market and America!) at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) Concourse D.

Designed with inspiration from local Baltimore communities, the new District Market retail space provides travellers with regionally themed gifts, souvenirs, logo apparel, gourmet and artisan foods, travel essentials and more.

Offering neighbourhood brands such as Charm City Chocolate, PopSations Popcorn, Woot Granola, Otterbein’s Cookies, Fisher’s Popcorn, Jody’s Popcorn and Route 11 Potato Chips, MRG says District Market extends visitors’ trip to Maryland and delivers a unique and immersive shopping experience.

‘MORE THAN A ONE-STOP-SHOP’

Michael C Wilkins, Chief Executive Officer, Marshall Retail Group said: “District Market is more than a one-stop shop. It offers BWI passengers’ regional products that connect customers to the local Baltimore communities.

“Curated with the savvy traveller in mind, customers at District Market are guaranteed to find the perfect item to complete their trip.”

The new District Market retail space provides travellers with regionally themed gifts, souvenirs, logo apparel, gourmet and artisan foods and travel essentials.

In addition to the new BWI Retail space, MRG also operates America!, which it describes as a modern, convenient destination offering an assortment of carefully curated merchandise reflecting the ever-changing American trends in the market.

From a design perspective, MRG says the America! store engages visitors by conveying a regional sense of place, set against a contemporary, patriotic backdrop while providing an eclectic mix of products from the current administration, branded apparel and novelty gifts, White House souvenirs, collectibles, and more.
