MBJ awards new contracts at Sangster

MBJ Airports of Montego Bay Jamaica has announced its preferred bidders for the new retail space in phase two of the Sangster International Airport modernization programme. This major expansion includes a new and modern retail

precinct that is to open in phases commencing mid-September, 2007.
As reported already, the precinct The Precinct will house 32 new retail outlets, comprising Specialty Shops, Duty Free stores and Restaurants. MBJ says the successful companies in the various duty free categories are: (perfume and cosmetics) Buccaneer Duty Free Ltd – trading as Blue Mountain Perfume; (jewellery/watches) Chulani Jamaica Limited; (liquor) CRR Enterprises Ltd trading as Sunshine Liquor; (tobacco/cigars) Jamaica Farewell Ltd; (jewellery/watches) K. Chandiram Ltd trading as Bijoux Jewelry & Watches; (leather accessories and specialty items) T.M. Traders Ltd trading as Bijoux Terner Leather Accessories & Specialty Items.
Successful retailers in other categories include: Casa De Xaymaca (branded casual wear);Far East Traders Ltd Souvenir Store; Harley Davidson Jamaica (branded casual wear); Jamaica Business Development (Jamaican Art & Craft); Jamaica Standard Products Ltd (coffee and spices); LMH Retail (books/magazines); MZ Holdings' Kidz Stuff Store; Sana Trading/Pirates of Jamaica (Jamaican souvenirs); Sunfree International Ltd Sunfree Hut (sunglasses); Tads International Ltd (CD/music/DVD); V.W. Enterprise Ltd (Cool Hub Jamaican souvenirs); and Walk Good JA Ltd (branded casual wear).
