MIA to open 19 new stores

Miami International Airport is to open 19 new speciality stores in its Central Terminal following the planned renovation of the facility this spring.
Amongst the stores that are due to open before May 2006 are Prestige Signatures, Havana Shirts, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Francini Jewelry, Borders Bookstore, Dunkin Donuts, Jetsetter Mini Spa, and Hudson News and Newslink news stands. All will be located between terminals E and H.
Brookstone, a specialty retailer of distinctive consumer products, and Mindworks, which sells nostalgic and modern toys, games and electronics, both opened in December 2005 in Terminal F and E, respectively. A $10 boutique store also opened in Terminal G in December.
The developer of the Central Terminal Retail, Westfield Concession Management has also introduced a marketing theme and logo based around ‘100% Pure Miami Shopping’.
