Paradies Lagardère wins Sky Harbour travel essentials bid

Leading North American travel retail and F&B company Paradies Lagardère has won a new travel essential store, plus a specialty service location at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).
The new concession comprises a combination of retail services from TripAdvisor, Mach1Medical and Drugs & More as part of the airport’ new retail and service offerings being located in Terminal 4
PARADIES HAS A LONG-STANDING RELATIONSHIP
Commenting on the new contract gains, Gregg Paradies, President and CEO, Paradies Lagardère said: “We are thrilled and very appreciative of this opportunity to continue expanding our long-standing relationship with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and [to] deliver these concepts in Terminal 4.
“These specialty service and travel essential offerings will be a great complement to the airport and a strong fit for the passengers in this market.”
According to the company the new TripAdvisor travel essential store will offer travellers toiletries, neck pillows, beverages and potentially some TripAdvisor-branded products, while also supporting local, regional and state businesses and national vendors.
SERVING PASSENGERS AND AIRPORT STAFF
By contrast, Mach1Medical is a state of the art, on-demand medical clinic that will be located in Terminal 4. Created by Dr. John Shufeldt, it will serve travellers’ with non-life threatening medical conditions – including airport employees with minor health issues.
Lastly, Drugs & More will also be offered with Mach1Medical, providing travellers with newspapers, magazines and travel accessories. The company adds that over-the-counter medication, electronic accessories, gourmet snacks, ice-cold beverages, luggage, and apparel will also be available.
