Gregg Paradies, President and CEO, Paradies Lagardère: “TripAdvisor brings not only travel basics, but innovation and technology to the customer experience.”

Paradies Lagardère has launched five new stores at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) to elevate the traveller experience.

TripAdvisor, WRAL, Corsa, No Boundaries and Swarovski stores have been added to the retail programme, as the airport yesterday celebrated the grand opening of 15 new concessions as part of an extensive commercial overhaul.

RDU approved speciality retail and travel essentials and speciality retail, travel essentials and duty free leases to Paradies Lagardère and Dufry/Hudson, respectively, in 2017, with Hudson and Vineyard Vines among a number of other retail fascias joining the mix.

“Paradies Lagardère is excited to continue to introduce iconic shops to the travellers at Raleigh–Durham International Airport,” commented Gregg Paradies, President and CEO at Paradies Lagardère.

The North American travel retailer and its *ACDBE partners (SB&J Enterprises and Shelroc Enterprises) are responsible for operating the shops.

TripAdvisor assists travellers in finding the latest travel reviews and competitive prices and merchandises a range of travel essentials.

It also boasts a large, interactive screen that helps them engage with nearby hotels, restaurants, attractions and other services.

The WRAL travel essential unit, linked to NBC-affiliate WRAL-TV, offers food, convenience options, electronics and other travel must-haves.
