TRI offers range of new headsets

Travel Retail Innovations BV has announced the addition of a new range of three ROXY/JBL headphone products for the global duty free and travel retail market.

The company says that the ROXY/JBL headphones collection blends ROXY skate and surf-inspired design with award-winning JBL sound technology.

By contrast, it describes the Reference 430 headphones as 'the perfect travel companion', being lightweight, compact and effective against ambient noise, with an adjustable headband for an extra-comfortable fit.

Meanwhile, the ROXY/JBL Reference 250 in-ear phones with in-line microphone and volume control apparently allow the user to pick up mobile phone calls, or their favourite music tracks without slowing you down.

In addition, the 'tiny' Reference 230 ear buds are described as possibly the smallest and lightest in the ROXY/JBL collection, but manufactured 'to the same high standards for excellent sound quality'.

The 3.5mm stereo mini-jack included with each headset is compatible with MP3 players, mobile phones, laptops, CD and DVD players, and the latest generation of i-Pods. The products are available in pink-orange and green-blue ? each with a matching carry-purse.

Commenting on the launches, Theo Lammers, CEO Travel Retail Innovations said: ‘TRI offers travel retailers a portfolio of products which are well designed, excellent performers and perfectly suited to the traveller for his own use or as an impulse gift purchase. These new ROXY headphones from JBL are funky and fun but they are also state-of-the-art in terms of sound quality.’
