The PIP team was selected by the Amtrak Board of Directors following a competitive, open procurement process.

“We are really excited to partner with Amtrak as part of this winning team and look forward to helping create a world-class station that Philadelphia’s communities will be proud of,” commented Sammy Patel, Vice President, Commercial, Vantage Airport Group.

“This announcement underscores Vantage’s deep commercial expertise, developed over 25 years of delivering award-winning commercial programs at airports worldwide. We look forward to delivering on another significant transportation infrastructure project.”

Stephen Gardener, Senior Executive Vice President, Amtrak: “Gray 30th Street Station is the third busiest station in our national network and this partnership underscores Amtrak’s commitment to deliver on its vision of a world-class station experience for all travellers, the station as a grand gateway to Philadelphia and tribute to honour the lifetime of service Congressman Gray provided to Philadelphia and Pennsylvania as a tireless advocate for disadvantaged communities.”

Vantage Airport Group presided over the recent opening of New York’s La Guardia Terminal B Arrivals and Departures Hall, the largest public-private partnership in US history.
