Wild Tiger Rum has sealed an agreement with distributor Haleybrooke International to help the brand penetrate travel retail and duty free’s North American (US & Canada) drinks market.

The Kerala-produced premium rum brand crossed paths with Haleybrooke International during the TFWA Singapore show earlier this year but cemented the deal at the association’s Cannes show this month.

Gautom Menon, Founder, Wild Tiger Rum, will work alongside Haleybrooke International’s President Patrick Nilson and Vice-President Roger Thompson to introduce the brand to the Canadian duty free sector at next month’s Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) show in Montreal.

Commenting on the partnership, Menon said: “It’s a special time for us to be working with Haleybrooke and to be amidst some iconic brands in their portfolio.

“What Patrick and Roger bring to the table is invaluable and we are tremendously happy to have put ourselves in a position to get noticed and signed by a pioneering brand agent such as Haleybrooke.”

Nilson added: “What interested me in Wild Tiger Rum was not only the spectacular packaging and the great rum itself but the person behind the brand.

“In only a year and a half Gautom has managed, almost singlehandedly, to put Wild Tiger Rum on the travel retail Map faster than many of the largest companies in the industry.”
