Wisa plans new outlets

Grupo Wisa is to open 150sq m of new retail space at Mexico City Airport Terminal 2 this April, incorporating the airport's first M.A.C store, plus a sunglasses boutique and a new store selling electronics

and technology equipment.

Commercial Director Marcelo Montico told TREND that this follows a year where the Central and South American duty free business reported a 7% sales increase across its operation in 2009, which now includes concessions at Panama Tocumen Airport, Mexico City T2, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Bogot
