Brands of Style founder Elena Bryant-Bloothoofd is speaking at Green Shoots Exchange, a new sustainability focused session kick-starting the TR Consumer Forum in Vienna.

Brands of Style is highlighting its soon-to-launch buyers platform Travel Retail Bespoke at the new sustainability focused Green Shoots Exchange session, which is taking place on Wednesday 21 June at the 2023 TR Consumer Forum in Vienna.

The new platform from the Dutch sales agency is sponsoring the new green element to the show, organised by TRBusiness with event partner m1nd-set, which aims to provide a springboard for the industry to help develop and grow the environmental, equitable and ethical business practices in travel retail.

Founder Elena Bryant-Bloothoofd will take part in the discussion, which will also have a focus on minimising GTR’s single-use plastic footprint, and how the GTR industry can work collaboratively to tackle ocean plastic pollution.

Sustainability is central to the Brands of Style ethos, which represents brands which have strong, genuine green credentials.

The new Travel Retail Bespoke platform, accessible at, is a buyer-dedicated portal that showcases sustainable lifestyle, beauty and wellness brands as they look to GTR for growth.

Confirmed brands for the platform’s launch include Londontown organic and vegan nail care; KORA Organics skincare; Lifelong Deodorant with its refillable, reusable and washable applicator; KURO-Bō water filtration system; and Slick Gorilla haircare.

“I’m looking forward to this discussion, which raises topics that are very close to my heart and the entire ethos of my business,” said Elena Bryant-Bloothoofd.

“We have a number of compelling brand stories to tell and I can’t wait to share some of the challenger brands’ initiatives that continually push the green shoots agenda.”

Confirmed brands for the launch of Travel Retail Bespoke include the KURO-Bō water filtration system and KORA Organics skincare.

She continued: “We are being asked by many of our travel retail buyers to offer newness and sustainability for their portfolios. So, it’s perfect timing to be representing these innovator and creator-owned brands as the travel retail market is now ready for challengers.

“Our remit is to help them to spread the word about their unique and sustainable products, which is why we are delighted to be joining the TRBusiness Consumer Forum community this year.

“Just over five years ago we were a challenger ourselves and I have chosen to represent this selection of brands for because I believe each and every one offers something unique and with their compelling stories, they will appeal to duty free customers.”

Lifelong Deodorant is another brand that will be available via the Travel Retail Bespoke platform.

The 2023 TR Consumer Forum is taking place from 21-23 June at AirportCity Space in Vienna, Austria. Established in 2021, the annual event is the DF&TR industry’s only conference that places the consumer at the heart of the conversation.

This year’s edition will deliver two-and-a-half days of dynamic knowledge sharing and vibrant networking curated under the theme of ‘Facing the Future; Preparing for Tomorrow’s Consumer Today’.
