Puressentiel marks 20 years with special edition launches in Cannes

TRBusiness joined Puressentiel CEO Rocco Pacchioni, Global Travel Retail Manager Emmanuelle Hens and the senior team in Cannes.
French self-care specialist Puressentiel marked its 20th anniversary at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes with a series of new designs to highlight the brand’s heritage and continued innovation in travel retail.
Central to the celebrations was a limited-edition anniversary version of its flagship Purifying Air Spray. Formulated with 41 essential oils, the product remains a cornerstone of the Puressentiel portfolio and a global bestseller, with five units sold every minute worldwide. The spray eliminates 99.9% of viruses, bacteria and mould.
“This is one of the first products we launched 20 years ago, so it’s great to be able to celebrate it in a special way on our anniversary,” said Emmanuelle Hens, Global Travel Retail Manager, speaking to TRBusiness in Cannes.
Puressentiel also unveiled a playful kids’ gift set featuring its best-selling mosquito solutions. The set combines the Anti-Mosquito Repellent and Soothing Spray – which protects against mosquitoes and ticks – with the Soothing Roll-On, a compact, travel-friendly format designed to calm bites after they occur.
“This is really a big thing in travel retail as you don’t find any solutions for anti-mosquito products once you are through customs,” continued Hens. “We are a key brand for travellers in that respect. We really provide solutions for all those daily little travel problems that you can’t find elsewhere.”

Puressentiel is listed in 145 airports across 35 countries and is enjoying impressive 30% year-on-year growth. Its products are available through major retail partners including Lagardère, Avolta, WHSmith and Kappé Schiphol.
