In this video update, Hazel Catterall, Director, Newmark Retail – UK & EMEA, shares an insight into how the rise of bleisure travel is fuelling the athleisure trend in travel retail.

Lifestyle shifts during the pandemic have changed the rules of everyday style, including how we dress for work and travel. People are increasing wearing what would traditionally be classed as sports or leisurewear, on a regular basis – a move that’s now being driven by the rise of bleisure (blended business and leisure) travel, according to Newmark’s Hazel Catterall.

In her role directing the team for Newmark’s UK and EMEA retail practice, Catterall has her finger firmly on the pulse when it comes to the fashion category. A key part of her job is advising airports and operators on how to secure the latest trends and brands within their retail lineup.
