Moroccanoil believes “the sky is the limit” for its business in travel retail, following an “amazing” two years of recovery.
In this video interview, filmed on location at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes, Sebastien Levi, VP Global Travel Retail for Moroccanoil, revealed that the beauty company, famous for its argan oil hair treatment, is performing “above pre-Covid numbers in 2023”.
Now, the plan is to build on the successful partnerships the company has established in the industry to further elevate its presence.
“We believe we have amazing tools at our disposal right now to go even further and build on the very strong foundation that we have established,” he said.
Levi sees the renewed appetite for travel and the opportunity for brands to capture that excitement and deliver memorable experiences to shoppers, as some of the biggest growth drivers.
He also referenced the rise of digital, as well as sustainability and responsible consumption, as two essential trends to cater to both now and in the future.
“The consumer is not going to wait for us, so it’s very important that brands are up to the challenge,” he said. “We are up to it at Moroccanoil and we are working hard to meet the challenge of the times.”
