TRBusiness Summit Shorts: GMAX Travel Retail

Having been trading in global travel retail for around two-and-half years, GMAX Travel Retail – the brainchild of experienced travel retail executive and Former Premier Portfolio Sales & Purchasing Director Garry Maxwell – is building awareness for its growing range of drink brands in the Americas. 

Recent additions to the portfolio include Waterford Whisky and 50 Cent-backed Le Chemin Du Roi Champagne and Branson Cognac, while Au Vodka – which broke a Guinness World Record last month for the world’s largest bottle of vodka on display – continues to go from strength to strength.

“The biggest opportunity for the GMAX portfolio of brands in the Americas lies with airports and cruise lines,” confirmed spirits consultant and Founder of Young Spirit Consulting Tim Young, who works closely with Maxwell.

“We have brands that are strong in key domestic markets such as the UK and Spain, where people from those countries are travelling to and from the Americas.”
