New Cabeau neck pillows ‘received incredibly well’ by industry

Cabeau’s neck pillows have been well received throughout 2023.
US-based travel accessories brand Cabeau has launched three new neck pillows to an “incredible” response: the Neck’s Evolution S3 (TNE), Air TNE and Evolution Earth ranges.
All three were showcased at last week’s TFWA World Exhibition and have been designed with patent-pending chin strap technology. The device was developed to keep the head upright and mouth closed while spelling.
The Evolution Earth series is part of the brand’s continued focus on sustainability.
In recent years, it has compressed its memory foam pillows to reduce shipping carton size by around 43%.
As well as cutting transport fuel consumption, the move has also cut corrugated packaging use.
The brand has also introduced e-catalogues to save on resources and materials.
Cabeau is currently listed on board Kenya Airways, Edelweiss Air, China Airlines, Vietnam Airlines and EVA Air.
“These three pillows have been received incredibly well,” said David Sternlight, Cabeau CEO.
“Our customers were excited about the innovation, and we worked hard together to make the transition into these new products ahead of an astounding travel season, post pandemic.”
Sternlight described the new developments as an upgrade on the previous bestseller, the Evolution S3.
“We looked at where our travel pillows could make a leap into a great product. We’re proud that this travel pillow is not only the most ergonomically comfortable pillow on the market, but also provides 360-degree support with the new super-soft jacquard chinstrap feature.”
He continued: “We are happy to see the inflight business come back, post-pandemic and we do well in this category with our Air TNE travel pillows.
“Because of the compact size and inflatable option, these are the perfect inflight option for those finding themselves in an uncomfortable position.”
Cabeau 2023 performance
Travel retail and duty free has been a strong focus for Cabeau through 2023. Sternlight said that in addition to opening new accounts, it has evolved its product range with retail partners.

Cabeau’s neck strap solution for better sleeping.
“As the US and European markets have seemingly returned to normal in regard to travel in 2023, we look to continue our expansion into Asia, Africa and Latin America as those markets ramp up their global travel endeavours,” he continued.
The holiday season is a key priority for the remainder of the year. “Our high-level goals for now into 2024 are to continue working with our travel retail and duty-free partners to educate new consumers on why the Cabeau travel products are the most comfortable options on the market.
“We must also encourage our super fans to upgrade their travel pillows to the newest option of their choice. We have something for everyone!”
Last year, Cabeau partnered with Germany-based CleanHub as part of a wider sustainability goal to become plastic-neutral.
Sternlight said it met its goal of stopping almost 25,000kgs of ocean-bound plastic, re-routing it to recycling and waste management facilities. He spoke on developing circular waste systems at this year’s Green Shoots Exchange, part of the TR Consumer Forum.
