Rituals perfects the ‘art of the spa’ with Hammam launch

The 12 new products adapt an ancient cleansing tradition for the modern times.

Rituals has unveiled a new range of luxury body products that reinterpret the traditional Hammam spa bath experience in consumer’s homes.

Inspired by one of the oldest cleansing traditions in the world, the new Ritual of Hammam Collection is available in travel retail in 12 product variants, five of which are emphasised: Black Soap (150ml), Hot Scrub (450g), Body Mud (150ml), Shower Foam (220ml), and Body Cream (220ml).

All 12 products can be purchased from Rituals’ standalone airport stores, with Black Soap, Hot Scrub, Shower Foam and Body Cream available in the brand’s shop-in-shop locations.

Neil Ebbutt, Director Wholesale, Rituals commented: “The Ritual of Hammam Collection allows users to replicate the spa experience in their own home and is a great example of how we create products that offer an authentic experience based on genuine traditional rituals that cleanse and refresh the body.

“They will be a great way for consumers to experience this time-honoured ritual of relaxation and purification.”

LUXURY PACKAGING

For the launch, Rituals has introduced a new luxury packaging design to enhance the product’s eucalyptus fragrance appeal.

In travel retail, Rituals is present in a number of global airports and onboard more than 120 of Europe’s luxury cruise liners.

Airport locations include Amsterdam Schiphol, London Stansted, Munich, Stockholm Arlanda, Copenhagen, Zurich, Budapest and Frankfurt.

Rituals’ inflight presence includes Qatar Airways, Iceland Air, Brussels Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic.

In addition, it currently operates seven stand-alone airport stores, two airport spas and more than 150 shop-in-shops.
