LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP) has named Suzette Noble its new CEO. Noble becomes the first woman to hold the role at the operator, which is behind LaGuardia Airport’s new Terminal B.

She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at LGP, and was promoted to the new role effective 1 September 2023.

LGP is a venture between Vantage Airport Group, Skanska, Meridiam, and JLC Infrastructure. Vantage leads on the terminal management.

The organisation won the bid issued by Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to redevelop LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B

A $5.1bn project, the redevelopment was completed in 2022 on time and on budget. The terminal is home to Air Canada, American Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.

Suzette Noble: ‘Incredibly honoured’

Noble first joined the LPG team in 2021, and now succeeds outgoing CEO Frank Scremin.

She brings with her over 20 years of experience developing and operating customer experiences at the likes of Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts, Krispy Kreme, and Great Wolf Lodge.

Under her leadership, Terminal B was awarded a five-star rating from Skytrax, becoming the first in North America to do so. The building also earned the title of ‘World’s Best New Airport Terminal’.

In her COO role, Noble has delivered an “exceptional experience for all stakeholders”, LGP said in a statement. She has worked to boost commercial revenue, and implemented processes to enhance customer experiences throughout the terminal.

“I am incredibly honoured to become the new Chief Executive Officer of LaGuardia Gateway Partners and deeply committed to advancing our mission of delivering an exceptional experience for both our guests and our terminal partners,” said Noble.

“I am inspired by our talented team at LGP each and every day and together, we will continue to usher in a new era of success at LaGuardia Terminal B.”

Last year, WHSmith opened its first retail location in North America at LaGuardia Airport Terminal B.
